The Old Testament was first published by the English College at Douay in 1609, and the New Testament by the English College at Rheims in 1582. Includes useful notes - critical, historical, controversial, and explanatory - selected by Rev. Geo. Leo Haydock. Published by A. Fullarton & Co., in Edinburgh and London. This leather bound volume is in nice condition for its age it features ornate typography, gilt gold designs and gilt edges. Has its own cotton bag. Nicest bible we have had.
